de plus en plus de jeunes sont confrontés à la sextorsion financière. Cela veut tout simplement dire que quelqu’un se fait passer en ligne pour un.e ami.e, essaie de te convaincre d’envoyer une photo ou une vidéo de toi nu, puis te fait peur pour obtenir de l’argent.
Les garçons sont particulièrement visés par ce chantage.

Pls pls pls i need help so i tought i was texting a girl and i sent nudes but it was a scammer and from what he talked i heard abt naira and he has an african accent anyway the situation happend on telegram and he demands 300 euro and i gave 10 and now he asks for 10 every week pls i dont know what to do i have a week before he asks again

First of all, I want to say that it is brave of you to reach out for help. This is not an easy situation to deal with.

With these tips, you can already get started:

• Stop all contact with this person on every platform where you are in contact with them. They are unlikely to stop the threats, regardless of what you do.
• Do not pay this person. Paying does not guarantee anything.
• Try to collect as much evidence as possible: take screenshots of the conversations, threats and the person’s profile. This may be useful if you decide to report the situation to the police, as what this person is doing is illegal.
• Block and report their profile on every platform where they have contacted you.

If you are under 18, I recommend contacting Child Focus by calling 116 000. We are available 24/7. We can look at the situation together and see what we can do to support you, for example by reporting the profile. You can also make a report completely anonymously.
